Constitution Day and Citizenship Day

As federal employees, we are charged with upholding the basic rights and liberties that are guaranteed to all Americans in the Constitution. To commemorate the signing of the Constitution in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787, Congress has designated
September 17th as Constitution Day and Citizenship Day.
Congressional Appropriations Bill H.R. 4818, P.L. 108-447 requires each agency to provide employees with education and training materials on the U.S. Constitution on September 17th to refresh our understanding and appreciation of this powerful document.
