Training Requirements
- All Department
of the Interior staff must take the Discrimination and Whistleblowing
in the Workplace training.
- To obtain
credit for this course, you will need to complete the post assessments
with an average score of 75% or higher.
- Javascript
must be enabled for your assessment to be scored and for your
progress to be tracked. See how.
- We
do not recommend taking this course through Lotus Notes.

How to Access the Training
DOI
Employees:
To take the
course all federal employees and contractors need to log into the
DOI Learn Learning Management System at https://doilearn.doi.gov
and register for the training. For instructions on logging onto
the DOI Learn system, please visit our DOI Learn site at http://www.doiu.nbc.gov/doilearn.
Note:
Interior employees who take the CD-ROM version of the course using
the instructions below will have to have their completions recorded
in the DOI Learn system. Depending on your bureau, this may be done
by your supervisor, a training officer or your DOI Learn Bureau
Data Steward.
All
Others:
You need to
download the following course zip file. Instructions on how to access
the training are below the link.

Instructions
for Using the zipped Course on CD-ROM
The files contained
in this zipped folder can be run from a PC or copied to a CD-ROM
and played from CD-ROM. For most users, there will be no sound unless
a CD-ROM is used.
After clicking
on the link, be sure to Save the file to a location on your PC (Do
not open).
Once the zipped
file is saved, it must be extracted. Right click on the file name
and Extract All. You can accept the default location and the files
will be placed in a folder with the same name in the same location
on your PC.
To copy to CD-ROM,
open the extracted folder, and the folder within that folder. You
should see two folders (courses and lms) and four other files. Copy
these two folders and the four files to the CD-ROM.
From either
CD-ROM or the PC, you can click the "start" file and follow
directions to play the course. Detailed instructions are contained
in the "Instructions" MS Word document.
