How to Pay for Individual SkillSoft Licenses

• Before a license can be purchased, users must register for the SkillSoft library. (Click here for instructions.)
• Supervisors must approve a SkillSoft registration in DOI LEARN before a user can access the library. For instructions on how to approve SkillSoft registrations, click here.)
• The fee for a SkillSoft license is $45. Users who purchase a license will have unlimited access to the SkillSoft library for one full year.

The following steps do not require logging into DOI Learn or any other web site and can be performed by anyone who has a government purchase card and is authorized to pay for this training (employee, supervisor, training manager, administrative staff). We suggest printing this page to assist you through the payment process.

HOW TO PAY FOR A SKILLSOFT LICENSE

1. Go to: http://www.doiu.nbc.gov/cc
2. Enter the required information
3. Be sure to select your correct organization
• You must work for an Interior organization to purchase a license.
• Contract employees must have approval from their Contracting Officer's Representative to take this training.
• Payment must be made with a government credit card.
4. In the "Select a Location" box, choose "Online"
5. Click the "Submit" button at the bottom
6. Complete the information and click "Submit"
7. Click "Ready to Pay"
8. Click "Next"
9. If prompted by a security alert, click "Yes" (You are now on the secure Pay.gov site)
10. Select card type
11. Type in your card number
12. Enter your expiration date
13. Click "Continue with Plastic Card Payment"
14. Click in the box authorizing the charge
15. Click "Submit Payment"
16. Wait for the approval (BE PATIENT AND DO NOT CLICK YOUR BROWSER BACK BUTTON)
17. (You may want to print the page that comes up with your transaction numbers before clicking "HERE")
18. Click "HERE" to complete the payment process
19. Print the receipt for your credit card records
