Completion Deadlines

USGS Safety and Health Course completion deadlines have been extended to April 30, 2005.

Additional Requirement for Local Safety Orientation

In addition to the one-time requirement to complete new employee safety orientation, either through CD or online, all employees should also receive local safety orientation from their supervisors, using the safety orientation checklist accessible on: http://internal.usgs.gov/ops/safetynet/newemployeechecklist.doc to cover the included topical areas, as applicable. In addition, all employees shall complete safety training listed within USGS 445-2-H, Chapter 14, as applicable and related to their occupational activities and operations.
